There's always something for volunteers to do at The Next Step Homeless Services.

Here are just a few ideas:

• Are you detail-oriented and like to clean things? You can come once a week or once a month to help straighten-up items and clean.

• Are you a nurse who can take blood pressure or check for Diabetes?

• Are you a licensed mental health counselor who would like to listen to those who are struggling?

• Love to cook?  We can use you to serve a meal at lunchtime.  You can schedule it once a week, once a month or whatever is convenient!

We also need volunteer instructors in Employment Preparation and Placement, Anger Management/Conflict Resolution, Life Skills Training and Money Management.

The Next Step Homeless Services is located on the second floor of the Secrest Building at 123 N. 6th Street at the corner of B Street.  We are open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
